Would you like to discuss a challenge facing a current startup or an idea for launching a new venture?
Considering incorporating your startup but uncertain about what type of entity will provide the greatest protection and least administrative burden?
Want to have a conversation with someone about your business idea but don’t know what to do to protect your idea from being stolen?
Come visit us at Baer Crossey to address these and other issues in our continuing series of complimentary office hours offered to entrepreneurs in the Philadelphia community.
At Baer Crossey McDemus, we are committed to helping entrepreneurs and emerging companies of all sizes with the legal aspects of starting and running their ventures, and we pride ourselves on sharing our clients’ creativity, energy, and passion for entrepreneurship. We hail from international law firms and corporate law departments, but we are also entrepreneurs, bloggers, and software and app developers ourselves, and as a result, we have an intrinsic commitment to fostering the growth and success of Philadelphia’s entrepreneurial community.
To demonstrate this commitment, Baer Crossey McDemus opens its doors once a month to entrepreneurs for free legal office hours. Each attendee receives a private thirty minute session with one of our senior attorneys to discuss legal issues and receive feedback in an intimate, personalized setting.
Upcoming Open Office Hours
We are excited to offer Open Office Hours with Jay Gantz on Wednesday, June 21st from 9a.m. – 12p.m. Jay is a seasoned media and technology attorney and former software developer. Prior to joining Baer Crossey McDemus, Jay spent close to 9 years at Comcast. While there, he negotiated inbound and outbound technology licenses and strategic partnership agreements, as well as counseled clients relating to IP, open source, and data/privacy issues, all relating to Comcast’s interactive media properties, including its IP-enabled set-top boxes and smart home platform. He’ll be available to discuss contract, IP, open source, and data and privacy matters.
Jay’s Open Office Hours will be held in our Philadelphia office. If you or your company are seeking legal guidance in these fields, please call 215-636-9220 or send an email to Mallory Politz at firstname.lastname@example.org with information about your company and what you’d like to discuss with Jay. Appointments are off the meter and limited to 30 minutes. You must make an appointment ahead of time in order to participate.
We look forward to seeing you!
