Neha is a transactional attorney in the Baer Crossey McDemus Technology and Data Privacy practice group. She advises clients on various information technology transactions, data privacy, and other intellectual property matters. Her experience includes advising on large complex outsourcing transactions, artificial intelligence (AI), cloud computing, software licensing, Saas agreements, reseller agreements, professional services/consulting agreements, and strategic alliances. In the privacy domain, she counsels on data security management and risks including matters relating to protection of sensitive data under HIPAA and other laws.
Before joining Baer Crossey McDemus, Neha was the Senior Corporate Counsel- Compliance Head & Legal Head of Subsidiaries – North America for Wipro Limited. In her role, she advised extensively on multifaceted global outsourcing transactions (from RFP stage to contract closure & compliance) primarily within healthcare and pharmaceutical industry; represented the company in contract negotiations in Japan, Europe, and North America; counselled on data privacy compliance and developed the policy for negotiation of and compliance with Business Associate Agreements at the company. This experience enables her to blend legal advice with practical business friendly solutions for her clients.
Through her love for travel and her experiences both professionally and personally, Neha understands the sensitive cultural nuances of a global and multi-ethnic clientele.
